Our Story

Trumark’s roots go back to 1939, when a small group of Bell Telephone employees came together to create a credit union. Their goal was simple: help one another access fair, affordable loans and build financial security together.

As the membership grew, so did the vision. In 2005, the credit union received approval to operate under a community charter with the name TruMark Financial Credit Union, reflecting a broader commitment to helping members achieve financial well-being. In 2026, the name was refined to Trumark Credit Union®, bringing greater clarity to who we are and what we stand for.

Today, Trumark serves approximately 145,000 members with the support of nearly 450 employees across five counties. Each year, we reinvest in the communities we call home through donations and partnerships with local schools, nonprofit organizations, and hospitals—continuing a legacy built on people helping people.
